Service Technician at Netel in Östergötland

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are now looking for a Service Technician for Netel within coax and fiber, who will have all of Östergötland as their area of service. Netel is an established player in telecom and infrastructure projects, working with the expansion, operation, and maintenance of critical communication. In the role of service technician, you will work in the field with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of coax and fiber networks. The work is done independently but in close collaboration with colleagues and customers. You will be equipped with everything you need to start from home, and you will plan your workday based on the assigned tasks you receive. Initially, the assignment is a consultancy position for 6 months with good chances of permanent employment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of coax and fiber networks
• Troubleshooting and resolution of network issues
• Maintenance and quality assurance according to applicable standards
• Documentation of completed work
• Contact with customers and clients as needed

Are technically interested, responsible, and enjoy practical work in the field. You work in a structured manner, have good problem-solving skills, and are committed to delivering high-quality work.

We see that you have:

• Completed high school education, preferably with a technical focus
• Some years of experience in similar work
• Driving license B
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working with coax and/or fiber
• Experience working with mobile networks, such as 4G/5G
• Relevant certification in fiber or telecom
